You can create
a voltage that increases in response to motor
rpm through the use of a small generator mounted
on the motor shaft.

adjusted through the use of a microprocessor
which compares the actual rpm voltage to the
preset rpm voltage and them makes any necessary
adjustments. The downside to this system is that
the information from the generator is not able
to be integrated into an automatic labeling
system. So while it does ensure that accurate
motor speed is maintained, it is not very useful
to the overall functioning of the system.
